The Retreat?
The biggest thing you can do to prepare is to work on your retreat theme. If you can come to the retreat with your specific, measurable, results-based theme, you will be ahead of the curve! Watch this video for a reminder of SMOR messaging, and download the training.

HOW DO I BOOK MY FLIGHT?
Our retreats are in Samara, Costa Rica. You will fly into the LIBERIA airport. Here are my tips & tricks on flights:
- Some of the cheap flights have crazy long layovers--make sure & check the length of the flight when you book.
- If you are looking for the most affordable way to travel, use a discount airline like Frontier or Southwest. Also consider booking a jumper flight to a main city, then booking another flight directly to Liberia, possibly through another airline.
- Although discount airlines aren't included on these sites, consider adding a google flight alert & getting emails every time the fares go down: www.google.com/travel/flights

WHAT TIMES DO I FLY IN/OUT?
The first day of the event is a SATURDAY. If you can choose a flight that arrives by 3 pm, you can join us for a kick off dinner. If your flight gets in later, not a problem. We officially start the retreat on Sunday morning.
We will pick you up from the airport on Saturday. Depending on everyone else's flight schedule, you may have to wait in the airport coffee shop for a bit. Enjoy people watching and a croissant while you wait.
You will fly out on the following FRIDAY. Please choose a return flight that departs as early as possible. If you leave on another day, you will need to take private transportation (not a problem, but can be expensive).
What Do I Need to Bring?
Carry-on only, no checked luggage needed
Swimsuits, beach attire, shorts & tees (no dress clothes)
A laptop (not an ipad)
A comfortable pair of walking sandals (like tevas)
Leave room in your luggage for gifts home

FAQ's: Location
Can I come early or stay late?
Yes! Email us & we will share the contact information for our transportation shuttle. You should easily be able to find an Airbnb in the city of Samara, or anywhere on the Guanacaste peninsula, near the Liberia airport. You can either jump in our group shuttle (arrives on Saturday, leaves the following Friday), or coordinate a private shuttle from your location to the retreat house.
What is the exact location for the retreat?
You know how humans invented street signs and street names? The word hasn't gotten to parts of Costa Rica yet. :) That's part of it's charm. There are no addresses in most of Costa Rica. We are right on the beach, a few minutes from the main city center.
Will I be sharing a room? A bed?
Yes, you will be sharing a room. You will not be sharing a bed unless you came with a partner. You will be staying in a room that sleeps 2 people.
Can I have a private room?
Sorry, rooms are shared! If you have a special concern about this, please email us!
How far are we from the beach?
We will be ocean front, and about a 10-15 minute walk into town.

FAQ's: Food
What is the menu like?
We will provide simple breakfasts (fruit, yogurt, granola, etc). For lunch, you can go to any restaurant in town, or cook your own food in your kitchen. Dinners are also provided. We do our best to accommodate your dietary needs!
How much is food in Costa Rica?
Restaurant prices : expect to pay very similar prices to US prices for restaurant food.
Can I drink the water?
Bet you didn't expect this, but YES, you can drink tap water. Costa Rican water is treated so you won't get the truly nasties.
Should I bring any food items?
The only thing you need is a water bottle! There is a small grocery store about a block away from the property.
